Emerald, sapphire and diamond kinetic flip ring in 18ct yellow gold
A modern multi-tasking sapphire and emerald ring
THE STORY
I designed this returning client’s bespoke diamond engagement ring. After many years of marriage her husband wanted to gift her bespoke jewellery to celebrate their wedding anniversary. As an NHS nurse here in the UK, she wanted a ‘wearable but wow’ everyday ring that wouldn’t get in the way of her work. I added the Hattie Rickards’ twist to the classic flip ring by box setting the two arcs of graduating white diamonds.
MATERIALS
11 3 mm square emeralds and 11 3mm square cut blue sapphires channel set in 18ct yellow gold, flanked by two hinged arcs of box set brilliant cut white diamonds.
