THE STORY
Tom came to me to create a unique ring for his ONE Katie for a surprise proposal. He liked the idea of using sapphires and diamonds, and when we discussed engagement styles, he connected with the meaning behind the Toi Et Moi ring. Tom has a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and quality, he fully immersed himself in the journey. Every step of the design process was thoughtfully considered, making the creation of the final ring a truly collaborative and rewarding experience.
Katie is elegant, authentic and outdoorsy, so i created a design that I felt would suit perfectly her and her style. Setting a diamond and a sapphire side by side with tapering white gold claws, on a yellow gold band, creates a modern and sophisticated setting for this classic style. Tom loved the design so I set about sourcing the perfect gemstones for him to review.
On pairing the stones we knew instantly the perfect pair – a pear shaped diamond that was pretty, elegant and full of brilliance, alongside a bold octagon cut deep blue sapphire.

A 1ct pear shaped diamond set with single white gold claws, paired with a bold 1.9ct octagon cut sapphire with double white gold claws.
