Blue sapphires and the client’s own diamond set in 18ct yellow gold

THE STORY
This stunning necklace was created for a 40th birthday gift, from husband to wife. She had inherited the central diamond from her parents and wanted to remodel it into a piece of jewellery. Inspired by her love of blue, we set a sea of vibrant sapphires in a halo, to encircle the heirloom diamond.
MATERIALS
Client’s own diamond bezel set in 18ct yellow gold, surrounded by pavé set blue sapphire rounds on a 20” diamond cut trace chain.
