THE STORY
Although the ring was for a surprise engagement, Bella had given some strong hints of exactly who to come to should the moment arise (wise girl!). She is an interior designer, with a great eye for colour and composition, so Fraser knew he needed the ring to be perfect.
We started with the HRJ designs that Bella loved, using these as style references. She has stunning strawberry blonde hair, and beautiful freckles, so we needed a colour palette that would suit her complexion. We thought a beautiful dark green sapphire would perfectly compliment her colouring, it is also a colour that features a lot in her wardrobe. When it came to designing the shape and scale of the ring, I knew her long elegant fingers would be suited to a bold chunkier ring (also reflecting her style and her bold character).
