THE STORY
Thea is a stylist, with a specific vision for how she wants her jewellery to look and feel, and how it fits in her everyday wardrobe. She wanted her engagement ring to be bold yet classic; and feel both modern and timeless.
She knew wanted a green central stone; we opted for a gorgeous green sapphire with a beautiful versatile tone. I created a bold design using a central octagon cut sapphire, flanked by carré cut diamonds. These square step cuts are the bold, clean and architectural sister of brilliant cut princess diamonds, beautifully mirroring and drawing your eye towards the step cut central stone. Both sides of the band are decorated with channel set square sapphires. The combination is elegant, intriguing and modern, just like Thea herself.
MATERIALS
Octogon cut green sapphire (2.21cts) flanked by Carré cut diamonds (1.01cts), with channel set square cut green sapphires along both sides of the band.
