Clients own engagement and eternity ring remodelled to make a new diamond halo flanked with trapezoid baguette diamonds and yellow sapphires

THE STORY
Using the diamonds from their original wedding and engagement rings, I have created a new bolder ring. Complimenting and enriching the original diamonds are the trapezoid diamonds that flank the central halo, as well two rows of signature HRJ channel set yellow sapphires, elevating further the design.
I sourced the graduating trapezoids from an old antique ring, which have been re-cut to fit my new design. Giving new life to existing jewels is a brilliant and sustainable way to approach the bespoke process.
The result is a bold new ring that celebrates their strength and success, as well as who they are today, but that holds within it the original promises they made.
MATERIALS
Clients own diamonds set 18ct yellow gold, with two graduating sets of yellow sapphires, bead set either side of the band. The central halo is flanked by graduating custom cut trapezoid diamonds. The total carat weight of the diamonds is 1.06cts.
