YELLOW SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING
An utterly striking ring featuring graduating cushion cut yellow sapphires decorated with diamonds.

THE STORY
Caroline and her husband commissioned this ring for her 40th birthday. She originally thought to remodel an heirloom, however following our initial consultation we decided to create a new design for the occasion. I created two design variations based on our initial discussions, both of which she loved.
In order to help Caroline to make her decision we sourced two sets of yellow sapphires; a set of graduating cushions and a set of graduating baguettes. The cushion cut stones immediately resonated with her.
Caroline was then keen to add some diamonds into the design (aren’t we all!) – we both loved the uninterrupted graduating cushions so we added graduating diamonds to the front and back of the ring, bringing in her two daughters by adding their birthstones on the inside of the shank.
The result is an utterly striking ring, with every element coming together to create a ring just for Caroline.
