A romantic surprise commission for her 40th birthday. After endless research trying to find a pair of special everyday earrings, he decided to commission a bespoke pair to match beautifully with her Hattie Rickards engagement ring.

Having worked closely with them both previously, he trusted me to create a design she would love. I began with the art deco form of her engagement ring, softening the steps and the scale of the diamonds to create an incredibly special, but still everyday, pair of earrings.

The moment when she opened the box was sheer joy… her smile said it all!
