Charlie and Ella wanted to create a ring to celebrate their engagement that was 100% Ella, and that she would enjoy wearing everyday. She knew she wanted a bold gold ring, something that didn’t feel too delicate or intricate. We quickly landed on the idea of a chunky gold ring with a central band of stones; a real sparkler of a cushion cut diamond, flanked by modern green sapphire baguettes felt perfect for her. I sourced a selection of cushion cuts for Ella to select from, she quickly knew which one spoke to her. We then had the green sapphires tailor cut in the UK by a master lapidary (a dying art!). Together we have created a bold, fun and wearable ring that is unique to Ella.
