THE STORY
Andrew described Jessie’s style as unique and minimal, combining statement pieces with paired back essentials. Initially he thought to create the ring as a surprise, but once we had embarked on the process, he felt she would really enjoy being involved.
They always wanted the focus of the ring to be on a single central stone, in a simple but bold design. We selected an emerald cut diamond perfectly suited to Jessie’s style with its bold rectangular shape and elegant step facets. Setting the diamond on a minimal gold platform, we chose to place the stone in a stepped bezel to give it added definition. The front and back of the ring is decorated with our HRJ signature arch of gemstones, here we have set green sapphires, a colour that has always resonated with Jessie and features heavily in her wardrobe.
